We call to You, God, though You are not far.
Almighty Father, and Son and Spirit,
let Yourself be the treasure of our hearts.
Be the thing in us which we can’t forget.

When all else would fail, and will disappoint,
we know that You are so unlike the rest.
Each child of Yours that You would anoint
has You as treasure for them to possess.

There is nothing so valuable
as Jesus Christ Himself.
His love is incomparable.
Jesus is the true wealth.
