Grant us with the faith which we truly need

that our light will shine both in word and deed.

Concern our hearts with more than inward thoughts.

Make our lives reach out with love for the lost.

There are many here we should someday meet,

that, with us may come the Gospel of peace.

Give us courage now to walk not by sight

but by sincere faith, to show them Your Light.

Bring glory to Your Name, Jesus,

in and through Your servants.

Glorify Your most blessed Name,

we cry out, Lord: “use us!”
