Oh, God, that we may learn to imitate
all that’s beautiful, all that is Holy.
Holding on to Christ, our lives He carries.
Seeing His glory, let us imitate.

Fix our eyes on You, Lord Jesus.
Let there be no one else.
Fix our hearts to know You, Jesus,
until our hearts would melt.

What we should become, please shape us into.
Help us to trust You, cherish what You give.
Painful, beautiful, both these are lovely
when found in Your will. For the end is good.
